Sasol North America Inc. is currently seeking new members to participate in their Citizen's Panel.
The Panel consists of approximately 15 people in the surrounding communities of the facility from varying
occupations and demographics.
The panel's mission is to facilitate communication and understanding between the management of
Sasol North America Inc. and the residents of SWLA regarding local issues of mutual importance and concern. The panel will
provide an ongoing mechanism for the public to convey its concerns to industry and for industry to have
dialogue with members of the community through regular discussions.
Participation on the panel involves a commitment of one two-hour-meeting per month for
approximately 11 months. The meetings are typically held in the early evening hours and will be scheduled to
conform to the needs of the panel members.
Panel members will determine all discussion topics and agenda items. Participants will take
plant tours, hear presentations, engage in open dialogue with plant management, and provide feedback on
company programs and processes.
